Are you looking for new challenges with an exciting and varied job, where you get an extensive interaction with talented colleagues in the organization?
Job scope:
- 2nd level support and maintenance (Online Booking Engine)
- 2nd level product support of tools developed by BCD Travel
- 2nd level support and development of Netsearch (our low cost Screen Scraping tool)
- Application test and communication of new releases
- Maintenance of Master Data
Objectives:
- Ensure product issues are dealt with in a timely manner and configuration data is up to date
- Ensure product feature and new releases are communicated
Transferable Skills:
- Customer (internal & external) oriented
- Excellent in communication both written and spoken
- Skills within project Management, organization and planning
- Capable of problem solving: anticipates, resolves customer, vendor and employee issues
- Ability to learn and apply new ideas and concepts quickly
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Ability to prioritize and execute required tasks in a high pressure environment
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the internal processes and operations related tools
- Problem solving and process reengineering
Qualifications:
- Corporate travel industry experience including agency operations
- Knowledge of all aspects of the travel reservation processes
- Excellent English language skills both written and spoken, additional languages a plus
- Knowledge of IT Support tools
- Knowledge of Scripting is preferable
- Interest in programming is preferable
